Relax In Style
Want to make sure your bedroom commands attention? Then be sure you don’t overlook style. Interesting features such as unexpected shapes and textures will surely be a show stopper and here’s how. VISUAL IMPACT:
When I first saw this bed, all I could see was wow factor. This bed screams contemporary/rustic style with the wavy wrought iron headboard, the off center canopy curtain, the rough texture of the wall and floor and the simple detail to color in the fabrics blending both old and new. The lacy bedcover is reminiscent of a vintage tablecloth but works well with the hard edges of the iron and the shine sheen of the silk fabrics and quite frankly is a nice accessory to the look of this room. REST AND RELAX: Color plays an important part in how we want to feel especially when it comes to the bedroom. The rusty colors in the pillow fabric are calming and creates a warm and relaxed feeling. The black color of the iron work frames the look of the bed while evoking motion like a ripple in water. The restfull tone on tone terra cotta color of both the wall and floor creates a soft backdrop letting the focus of the room be completely about this beautiful bed. FINDING THE PERFECT PIECE OF FURNITURE: When decorating your bedroom always consider color, the size of your space and lighting. These three check points will ultimately help you develop the overall scenario of the room and keep your style under control. There’s nothing worse than an overstuffed bedroom squeezed to the max with oversized furniture that is the right scale or not having enough light if you like to read in bed. PERSONALIZE YOUR SPACE: Remember, your bedroom should reflect both you and your spouse’s style. So why not take a little extra time to personalize it with a signature look that combines the colors and furniture you both love. Don’t forget to add personal touches such as collections of artwork, antiques and accessories that will make your bedroom truly your own luxurious and restful oasis. A collection of small mirrors, pottery or candles can make a nice statement in a bedroom so consider what you love or all ready have on hand even if you have to borrow it from another room! And finally, when it’s time to go to bed, you should have a sleep environment that quiet, dark, comfortable and cool. Sweet dreams!
